Providing research and technical support to the Chief Technical Officer on issues related to protections of Indonesian migrant workers. Current tasks include review of statistical estimates of Indonesian domestic workers, and a background paper on the integration of the new ILO Convention 189 on Decent Work for Domestic Workers into Indonesian legislation.

Contracted to provide a research paper on the international law obligations of states to provide human rights education and training, as part of a LRWC project funded by the BC Law Society. Additionally provided volunteer management and communications assistance to the executive director, including writing of the annual general report, plus development and maintenance of monthly newsletters, website, and social media content.

Worked as a researcher on a joint project between the ILO and the European Commission: Knowledge sharing in early identification of skills needs. As part of a small team, contributed research and writing to five reports on occupations in the green building sector for a series of countries in Europe and Asia (Japan, Australia, Singapore, Romania, Malta, Slovakia, Latvia, and Greece).

Designed six full issues of NOVAsia, an internationally-distributed magazine at Yonsei University. Produced and procured licensed graphics and images, collaborated with authors and editors on theme and design coherence, and managed a small team of writers and designers. Additionally, worked as a staff writer producing a series of feature-length and short opinion pieces on the subjects of human rights and international development.

Developed and implemented new curriculum for a kindergarten and after-school English program, including a joint project with the director on the planning, building, and management of a school library. Additionally taught up to 30 class hours per week to Korean children aged 5-14, while recruiting, training, and managing foreign staff. Received two awards for training presentations at regional workshops.

Provided administrative, technical, and communications support to the project manager of the CommonCV, an online tool for researchers to easily submit their CVs to granting organizations. Responsibilities included providing support to CommonCV users, designing and documenting new functionality, conducting telephone and internet research, and liaising with project partners in federal and provincial governments, as well as non-governmental organizations.
